I have a 2010 Camaro and had 500 lbs of stereo equipment installed which lowered my tires from the wheel well from 29 3/4" to 28". I want have the springs replaced. Does anyone know where I can find a stronger coil spring or spring and shock assembly to bring car back up to factory height without using air ride. We tried air ride and it rode like hydraulic and bounced too much. I just need to raise it higher with a strong spring or something.

id talk to justice pete from pedders about that, i know with the pedders xa coilovers you can set your spring to a comfortable level then adjust the ride height with the adjustment on the bottom of the shock because with pedders xa coilovers you do not adjust the ride height with the spring you adjust it with the entire shock body which is a great quality. im not 100% sure you can adjust it up 1 3/4 inches that you need, he will know the exact height you can go up with it. traditionaly you can use a set of cargo springs but that is the old way i doubt they make cargo springs for the camaro but i think if you can afford them the pedders xa coilovers are the perfect fit and they are a gmpp part as well!

Either that or get in touch with Eibach or Hotchkis or similar and order up a custom spring rate to deal with the extra weight.

+1. Your entire stereo system must be made of solid gold.
If you want the stock height, you'll have to go with coilovers and adjust them back up.
