I'm interested in these P14W in amber for the DRLs. Does anyone have any pictures of those?

They come prewired for the harness to keep from blowing out correct?

The P13W bulbs will match the halos almost perfect (around a 8000K) but the color will be a little different than the stock HIDs.

Installed my plasmas the other day. Here's a couple of pics comparing the original P13W's to the Plasma. I think the plasmas have slightly less blue tint to them. I haven't yet decided whether they are brighter or not. Can't really tell in this daylight picture. AAC has great customer service--around a week or less from my mailing to them and receiving the new ones back. First pic is the original P13W's, second pic is the plasmas.

Glad you noticed, we have put a substantial amount of effort into our service for forum members in the past several weeks. We have added staff to cut down processing times and product turnaround as well as an all new inventory control system to dynamically track inventory to prevent any shipping delays.

I began having an issue with the new plasma bulbs over the weekend. When I start my car, one of the bulbs is not working. After I drive a while and get out, the bulb is back working. The weather has been too nasty for me to get under the car again to check the wiring. That is my next step. If the wiring checks out and the problem continues, I guess these bulbs will be going back for a refund and I will have to settle for the factory bulbs. I am tired of the issues.

Most likely the harness isn't pushed in all the way. If it isn't clicked into the back of the bulb than it is able to move around, "jiggle" , and turn on and off.

Sounds like a loose connection. You can dab a bit of dielectric grease on the connector to help it lube up and also protect against any future corrosion.

Yes, I will make sure the connection is tight. I dont have an enclosed garage, just a carport, so I have been waiting for a dry day to get under her.
I love the bulbs and absolutely do not want to send them back.

We have shipped out over 600 units so far and we only had 1 return but it was because of a DOA issue that we should have caught in QC before it was shipped but apparently overlooked.

So to answer your question: These are working out GREAT

Love the bulbs, love AAC,

But honestly, just wondering why these can't be made to snap in like stock?
I used all I could to try and snap mine, but they wouldn't (just like the former P13W bulbs I had). So then I used both hands to see how much pressure it would take the loosen them and it was not as much as I had thought. With the connection wires hanging down, I wasn't comfortable with the amount of pressure it took to wiggle them loose and figured they could possibly wiggle out on their own over time.....so I ended up putting glue on the sides of the AAC plug to hopefully hold it in place of the factory plug.

Bulbs look great, and I'd say they seem brighter than the old style, although I will say I think the old LEDs matched up better with the stock halos/headlights. These bulbs have a very slight blue temp to them.

Has anyone replaced their side markers with LED bulbs yet and have any pictures of them on?
A night shot would be great.

When moulds are made at different times the connector is very hard to duplicate 100% because both parts are not there at the same time (male/female). These bulbs can be modified by cutting off part of the clip in order for them to "snap" into place.

Bulbs look great, and I'd say they seem brighter than the old style.

Just a followup to this issue. I was able to get under the car yesterday. The fitting seemed to be connected properly but I pushed it in the best I could to get it as secure as possible. So far, so good. The P13 with the issue has been working properly since then. I sure hope this solves the problem because the lights really look great!

Glad to hear everything is working properly for you

If you have a couple minutes I would just recommend the bulb grease again. Just as preventative measure.

This is what we use but any dielectric (non-conductive) grease from any auto parts store will work.
