A few of us are going to go to The Dallas Raceway in Crandall, TX tomorrow night (Friday July 22, 2011) at 7:00pm for a little drag racing if anyone wants to join us. This is a very nice track if you haven't been there before.

Helmets & Long pants are required.

Laps for Charity with Lone Star Camaro Club - September 10, 2011

So this is a follow the pace car event and not full throttle? It would have been fun to be allowed to open it up on the circle though in my current ride I'm not sure that I could handle the corners only the straights. But I do put down a nice run on a staight. Wish there was a quarter mile track closer to Fort Worth. I have contemplated trying to go down to the eighth down in Kennedale. Has anyone else gone there to drag?

The Laps for Charity are 3 laps behind the pace car. The cars will only get to around 90mph during the laps. I have been to Kennedale once drag racing. I normally go to Dallas Raceway in Crandall (1/4 Mile), North Star Dragway in Denton (1/8 Mile) or Redline Raceway in Royse City (1/8 Mile).

Alright boys and girls here is the next meet up. This one is being thrown by the San Antonio Camaro Club on November 12th! It will include dinner on the riverwalk, a citywide car show, a cruise (I'm not planning this one so I'm sure it will actually work out), and a photoshoot! I have linked the thread below so you can post up if you are coming are not. I hope to see you all again and I'm sure this time we will have even more fun!!! At least this one won't be as hot!!!!

October is supposed to be the club Business Meeting @ Fox & Hound in Lewisville. Which is also the last day to buy cards for the Poker Run. I'm not sure what day that will be yet though, but I will have to assume the 9th or the 16th.

We are trying to finalize the details for the October meet. We are trying to get at least 8 paid drivers for Go-Kart Racing Dallas Karting Complex. I am looking to see if the will have a reservation available for Saturday October 22nd. I will check to see if that date will be available this coming week.
