low power - inexpensive sub amp

Not selling anything to anyone, but know there are a fair number of folks out there looking for the best deal they can get, so I thought I would share...

Kicker 100W Car Audio Stereo Input Sub Amp with Housing - $9.88
  • Designed and manufactured by Kicker
  • Mono Class-D amplifier
  • 100 watts RMS into a 1 ohm load
  • Optimized for low impedance speakers
  • Unique DC offset-sensing turn-on circuitry
  • Stereo high level inputs only

Not a ton of power... but enough to run a small sub if you dont want to crack pavement.

Aww, ain't that cute!

I'm thinking of grabbing it for no real apparent reason, other then just because, lol. Problem is, shipping is more then the amp!

Would be great for a pair of hidden mid bass drivers in front somewhere. Would help bring substage up front where it belongs. Hmmmmmmmmmm............

lol - its awesome... I am going to order a couple to play with. I have some 8's from a previous install to run with them... these appear to be small enough to hide almost anywhere and class-d so they shouldnt get too hot (or require too much air). hmm... great for a corvette install... 100w RMS would be enough to power a ported dual 2-ohm 8 or 10.

More needless audio purchases, my wife is thrilled already!

Set my brother up with 2 of these, each powering a 8" Quatro ( http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=295-545 ) in his Miata. Impressive for a small car system.

I love PE. Can't count how many HT and car systems I've built from their stuff. NEVER been disappointed.
