FYI -
10 and 12 bolt are how many bolts hold the ring gear to the carrier and thus relative strength.

For standard GM products:
10 bolt (early musclecars) 8.20", later 10-bolts are 8.50"
12 bolt is 8.875"
Ford is 9.00" (vs 9 bolt)
The monster Chrysler Dana 60 was a whopping 9.75" ring gear.

That Dana is no joke, we put one in a 4th Gen it looks killer BIG BOOTY lol.

No promises, but Brandi ought to be going under the knife again today, or tomorrow morning at the latest.... for the install of my nine inch kit, the tear down and rebuild of my transmission, and for trouble shooting the driver side turbo/wastegate...

More to follow as it comes up.... I'l post pics when we get to that point...
