That's great! What do you mean when you say you never got into boost? Does that mean the wastegates, or blow off valves or...... are those open or something? Sucks your so close and have to leave on another "hitch". Seems to be in excellent hands though! Congrats!

Another clutch convert is born. I know everyone wants to save money on the clutch, and the Slayer unit from Thomas is expensive but it's worth EVERY penny in a supercharged car.

tkrupinski also got one of those Street Slayer clutches and he says it is amazing... well worth the expense.

With forced induction, if you limit the throttle position, then you don't create boost...

As an example... To go fast, with any car... you have to open the throttle blades to allow more air in the motor... by limiting the throttle position to calm easy driving, I never create enough exhaust pressure/velocity, to spin the turbos fast enough to create boost... I can out run most cars without ever getting into boost, and when I hammer on it... well.... there are a few fast cars that can outrun a forced induction car, but most of them also have forced induction in one form or another...

Well alright R !!!

A little pre-boost Brandi action. Upgrading the drivetrain is well worth it and is a necessity. Once all together and tuned you will have so much fun with a set of sticky tires. Everything will be a blur. Nice.

Four weeks will be ok considering how long it's been. Believe me, I'm not complaining and trying to stay positive... looking forward to the fun... dammit, yeah it's going to be for frigg'in ever... lol...

Ah, okay. I didn't know that. I guess I should have having driven over the road for a while . I remember hearing it spool up and I'd give it more throttle.

So you can baby it and smoke most things on the road...... That's just...AWESOME!!!!

Considering that 4 cylinder grocery getters and mini vans are the majority...

But no, it is still a 427 with a very large cam even without the boost...

Thanks Doug... It's been a while in the making... But I think we are getting close...

Corey has a plan for while I'm gone and will be getting some stuff done... He's made/making a list of stuff we need for the nitrous set-up...

He going to have Allan finish the boost controller hardware/wiring install... Tune for the bigger turbos... And then put some miles and heat cycles on the trans and diff, and then see what he can do with boost and fuel... C-16...117 octane race fuel...

When I get back we'll finish the nitrous install and see what we see...

My prediction... ... Race fuel and nitrous ( Probably a 150 wet shot )

Hmmm... Taking guesses here...

Feel free to post up... Anybody....A prize... Not yet determined to the winner... Closest without going over...

Just to make sure there is some interest... Last year I gave away a Henderson Performance Technology T-shirt and offered up a 5th of Crown Royal...so feel free to post up your best guess...
