Nope, no tearing down of the dash... On this kit, the down tubes run down right next to the dash... Thats why I want to see them in place before we weld them in. If I dont like the look, or it makes it too inconvienent to get in and out of the car, we may tear the dash down and go through there... Time will tell... The Six point roll bar may be mostly installed before I get home, but Corey is holding off on the halo and downtubes until I'm there to look at it... I wont be running that fast of a pass until I get my diff anyway...

Thanks for the well wishes on the weather... There is no whistling on this rig right now... whistling up a wind is a bad thing...

With all that tubing you could weld it to the top of Brandi and make you own Onshore Oil Rig... You'd feel right at home.

I don't know Randy an IOM cage in our Camaros make pepole pass out upon the site of our rides I going this route but excitied to see it welded in!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. some real flames on your roll cage would be hot as hell but what do I know!!!!!

we are still anchored off Cabo Frio, waiting on boat to offload all the extra crap onto...the schedule say we will leave here on the 29th, but there is no way in he'll that's happening, unless we bring all the crap with us and ship it back from Trinidad or from Brownsville...the norm is to have about three to six months to remove stuff, and we are supposed to manage this in ten days... Yeah right...while in the shipyard in Mobile getting ready to go to Egypt, we had an average of almost 200 welders and fitters on the rig everyday, here we have two rig welders, three service welders and two fitters... we can't even gets boats to offload the riser and drill collars...

Land rig work sux... Too easy to quit... Start the truck and you're gone, and out here, I can buy the whole rig dinner and it's easy, on land, you could go broke...they feed us out here... But we have to eat what they serve, I've eaten a lot of PB&Js in my offshore career.

No yours is the one you see out the windshield of this car. It was the only picture I had. We added pop up headlights.

You know, I thought until recently you were a fisherman. I was seeing your profile picture with that fish and you were talking about being out on the rig.

I like to fish, but nope, I'm just a lowly Subsea Engineer... Barely make enough to keep my head above water...

nothing stupid about it, just not as yet informed...

That thing in the background look like a honda or something... if it has two wheels by design, or I can cut grass with it, ok, if not, I'll pass and I want my Camaro back... Pleasethankyouverymuch...
