You didn't upset me at all... I just needed to vent since I'm chasing my tail around trying to get all the stuff done that is required by them prior to leaving... Knowing some idiot in an office in Mexico City is gloating at how many hoops they made the gringo jump through.. To help them get their oil... We recently, last 18 months, pulled all of our rigs out of Mexico due to contested downtime... If awatchagism in a part of the rig they never see, never use etc... Doesn't work and they find out about it, that's a percentage per day downtime offense... And half a days paperwork and somewhere north of 20 emails back and forth with our office about why and who etc...and the idiot that wrote up the DT report is sitting in the office on our rig with a smug look....these rigs are incredibly complex... Stuff happens all the time that doesnt effect operations.. But they don't care...they get another lil feather in their cap from the big office on the beach...

Alright, I'm off my soap box... I was pretty wound up earlier having to driving all over hell and highwater trying to get everything done... The part of it that upset me is nowhere else in the world requires all the silly hoops we have to hop through to work where I'm headed...

I leave at 6:45 am, and will be in Cuidad Del Carmen by noon or so... I am looking forward to some decent food at the hotel we stay at, and more than anything else, I'll get to see a friend I haven't seen since I last worked in the Gulf of Mexico about five years ago...

Yup... Been planning this for a while... Just getting past the initial growing pains... We will mix the nitrous with C-16, 117 octane race fuel so we don't have to pull timing, or at least as much... We are still on the conservative build tune, with only 12 degrees total timing... We are going to bump this up... See how it goes at roughly 20 hp per degree... And then start cranking on the boost to see where the current fuel system will take us.... Hoping for around 1100 rwhp, then throw the nitrous on her and see what we see...

yup, well put a fuel pump in the cell under the hood, have a regulator outside the cell, and run the C-16 to mix with the nitrous...
