In fact 2 years ago I dragged a co-worker along to check out my old house when we were "in-town" for the Carlisle Ford show in PA, and took me family by there last year for a vacation.

I truly miss living there and how beautiful it was. You guys are all lucky, although I was rather surprised how much has changed. The outlets are gone, the Martinsburg Mall area has exploded, no more hardees in Inwood, the italian place (luigi's?) in Inwood is gone too, and I couldn't find Potomac Mills farms Ice Cream anywhere! Heck, even my Church isn't the same Denomination of church anymore...
Wow. I live just up the hill from Nancy Jack Road close to Mills Gap. Yes, Luigi's closed almost ten years ago. Very sad. If you ever come back, let me know.

Yes, the Friday night cruise is east of town on 340 (south side). There is a Chevrolet dealer there and a Shell station. There is also a hot dog stand.
If you aren't obsessed with this car, you aren't allowed to have one!

Andy....that's cool! My wife and I have good friends in Gerrardstown that we visit often on Ronald Lane (take a left at the little store and go about 1-2 miles). In fact that friend has a lift in his garage and that where I have done most of the work (that I can do)on my car! Coincidently...I'm in the market for a blower cam and yours is one of the finalist...think it's called a TC +2 or something...don't remember because I try to put it out of my mind until I have the money saved up..haha! But yeah...this whole area has exploded with people crawling around everywhere. Prior to the housing market bust the property and houses here were selling for ridiculous amounts of money...still my property taxs have tripled in the past 10 years.

yeah, I was very surprised how much it has changed, but nice to see that some of it has not...

our 2c is an awesome cam if you are looking for a good lope, but that still works great with a blower and drives great!

The dealership (Alex Chevrolet)closed in November I think. A lot of cars usually show up for the Friday night cruise-in.

Yeah...it's a bummer that Alex Chevrolet closed. I bought 2 of my silverado's from them. The only chevy dealer left in the eastern panhandle now is Apple Valley Chevrolet...and I don't really care to deal with them....they almost went out of business with chevy too...were in arbitration for months!!

you guys are making me want to make a trip down there again this year lol. At least there would be lots of Camaro's to check out from the looks of it.

Actually, I think there are more in the area but not on Camaro5. My neighbor has a white one with orange stripes, very nice color combo. I plan on attending a few Friday Cruise nights this summer. All of us locals will have to plan the same night and make it a Camaro invasion.

I'll definitely have to check out the cruize night this summer. I've seen a few new camaro's pop up around here recently. There is a green SS w/black stripes I see everyday near the VA hospital, I've seen a IOM SS w/black stripes, a silver SS w/black stripes (that looks awesome the way he has his mods) and a white SS w/black stripes that lives half way between Inwood and Middleway. I also see an all black camaro coming out of Middleway often. Not sure if any of them are on C5 forum. I found it by accient when looking for aftermarket ideas. I hold them soley responsible for the 12K that I've spent on modifying my car since joining..haha!

Charles Town for me, although I'm not a 5th gen owner. I've got a '99 z28 that is my daily driver (205K miles on it so far).

The friday night cruise is at the Cone Zone, in the parking lot by the now defunct Chevy dealer. It's sponsored by the Country Roads Car Club.

YES! That's it. Thanks for giving us the correct details. In my opinion, if we decide to gather one Friday evening (if it ever gets warm and dry), we should include ALL generations of Camaros. I'd love to see a Camaro with over 200K miles! Also, I'll ,make sure the EPCA knows of the gathering.

Wow! Pretty cool. What supercharger did you have and how much boost did it provide? (I am worried about doing the same thing, hence the line of questioning...)

What did you do, throw a rod? Got any pictures?
