Need Audio system suggestions.

I just installed a couple amps and subs in my 2013 Camaro with the BA system. I used the ******** amp bypass and connected a Kenwood Excelon X301-4 4-Channel Car Amplifier to only run the factory speakers, bypassing the factory amp in the back. The middle front dash speakers are not hooked up. Either this amp is way under-powered, even with it bridged, or those BA speakers are just awful? It's only pushing the front tweets and mids as well as the rear tweets and mids in the factory 6x9's. I had to bridge it to get any decent volume. I have it running with the HPF too. I had to turn the gain all the way up to do much for my taste. My new amp will probably blow as I'm pretty sure its under 2 Ohms. So, would it be better to replace the amp or the speakers? the rear speakers sound awful. Maybe just replace those? My subs pound hard though. I love what they are doing. (1000W mono amp) Do the BA speakers have lots of resistance...No sensitivity, or does my amp just suck that much? I figure people on here have had experience with this system. Any opinions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any advise.

BA speakers are 50W @ 2 Omhs each. Yes, the center speaker is now disabled. I would recommend replacing the speakers first, then adding the amps. The rears seem to distort first, this is my 2nd Camaro with the BA system. Your amp, on paper it looks good. If you bridged the amp then you should be at 2 Omhs, so your ok.

You should set your front and rear filter to FULL, for both front and rear. Set your Sub amp for LP.

Yes creeper, I did go through those steps as usual. My guess is, because my amp bypass kit has an inline filter, per that company's instructions, that may be why the sound is in fact "muddy" mostly at the rear speakers. (where the in line filters are) I'm thinking if I replace those with some 3-ways and remove the in-line filters, it should help a lot. I tried running my amp w/o any "in amp" filter, but it started clipping at, what I would call, pretty low volume for this amp if the numbers are true. I'm used to the old school amps that I have owned fort 20 years. haha. Punch 150, MTX Blue thunder and such. I have a 1000watt Fosgate 25 to life in another car and the Alpine r-series subs makes my throat shake and I cough. lol. It's a beast that truly puts out 2999 watts on the birth-sheet. Old school cheater amps. Those were great. I'll try new 6x9's first. Thanks for the input.
