How long does it take for the dealer to program the controls? Went to the dealer and they tryin to tell me it will cost 230 dollars or more to program it because they have to download the thing through the tech center for 75 bucks and then leave the car plugged in for at LEAST 3 hours. Are they bs'n me?

the program itself is about 20 minutes the big wait is for GM to download it to the vin but the car doesnt even have to be there for that.

I do not know how the Scosche setup works so I think you will have to ask them

Audio controls

I have a 2011 camaro LS and want to add the audio controls. I already have the control part for the steering wheel but where could I get the wiring harness? Also do you have to remove the air bag to install this? Thank you

So I never really seen what all it takes to add this to your car. So I take it that you have to remove the air bag? Also where do you run and connect the wiring harness? Thank you

You just remove the airbag and the side cover oin the wheel then install the switch and harness. The harnessis all under the airbag

Ok got your email today. I have a question though. I was looking at the parts list where it shows the steering wheel parts list and number 6 is what I need. Shouldn't that harness already be in there since I have the cruise control from the factory on there? It looks like the harness is all 1 unit and plugs into both controls on the steering wheel.
