I ordered Quad stainless tips. What do you do to get the flat black single tip plastic removed to be able to us quads?

The OEM tip will need to be cut and removed, and your Quads will need to be welded/bolted on. Take it to a good exhaust shop that should take less than an hour.

If the bend on the 2014 mufflers are like the bend on the 2010-13 you will not be able to put quad tips on. There is not enough to cut off and bend to fit them in the diffuser or GFX. There is not a single person on the site that I've seen that has been able to put quad tips on the OEM mufflers.

You can see from this pic what I mean.

I believe he's asking how to remove the black plastic insert in the diffuser so the quad tips will fit through the opening.

On the other hand, as others were saying you probably will not be able to use stock exhaust other than the npp and have it work with quad tips.

Yep that's what I was asking. I don't have and tips on there now it's just the GM performance exhuast with no tips. I did by stainless quad tips to put on.

The quad 4" are to Big for the ground effect. They are 8.5" wide.

I think I have to try to return them and get the quad 3.5"

I was looking at this ground effects kit too, and I may be wrong, BUT, I think you may have ordered the wrong kit. I asked about this when I bought the car because I was going to buy the quad tip ZL1 exhaust and the dealer told me that there are two different part numbers. Now this was a salesman I was talking to, but it may be something to look into. I ended up with just changing the rear diffuser to the NPP one.

Arrow

I think there is one 2014 ground effect kit and you can remove the matte black area around the tail pipe. but by the look of it the Quad 4" are to big and will not fit.

There are push tabs on the edge of that trim piece that goes around the exhaust.
You may have to remove the whole diffuser to be able to remove them safely though.
