DIY: LED dome/trunk light swap

Well I finally got my LED interior lights from AAC today and dont recall being able to find a DIY guide for these so here it is
sorry for quality of images was using my phone

first remove the switch cover (i used a small flathead on the side and pop it out)

next remove the light cover

swap bulbs they pull right out and reverse steps to reinstall

first carefully pry down on the driver side of the housing (i used the flathead again). slide down and out to the left

once out simply pull light out and replace

When I did mine, I couldn't get the panel with the switch off so I just removed the plastic cover over the light and that was it! I don't know why the switch wasn't coming off, I was afraid of ruining the plastic molding.

just a fyi...if ya plug in the new bulb and it doesn't work, take it out and turn it around to reverse the leads. they have to have the right polarity.
don't ask how i know this.

didn't have that problem, must have just got lucky plugin them in
