21'' Wheels

If you order the 21'' wheels does the dealer subtract the value amount of the 20'' wheels from the total price of the car? If not, wouldn't you be better off buying the Camaro with the 20s, then later on buying the 21s just to keep both set of wheels for the same price as ordering with only the 21s?

I was under the impression that your car would arrive with the factory wheels installed and then the 21" wheels would arrive at the dealer as a separate shipment so you get both sets of wheels and the dealer would install the 21" in their shop.

Whuh? That doesn't sound right. (Although it probably is).

If I want 21" rims...why do I have to buy both?

BTW, Great question, I hadn't even thought of that.

From my experience on this kind of stuff you usually end up with two wheel sets, but the Chevys seem to come with them on...so

The package is 4000.00 for the 21"ers. So you BETTER get to keep the 20s.

Wonder how long it takes for this thread to be moved.

stonefox187, go to the forums page and go to the right category. Or click the link BigRigMike put up. This will be discussed more there.

even if you were to sell the 20's back to the dealership you wouldn't get more than $50 per rim because they have so many of those same rims. It doesn't matter if you sell them or not .
