2SS/RS
Removed the rear SS badge for the "Hurst Equipped" badge

Wanted the SLP Redline wheels, not to mimic the ZL cars, but because of the Dale Jr. edition... oh well, settled for factory repros w/ pinstripe.

I might wind up purchasing the Hurst Edition wheels

Everyone thinks I put an RS badge on my car because I have the "heritage" steel wheels off a base LS.

My car is a 2LT/RS but I take the aluminum wheels and Pirelli P-Zero summer tires off for the winter.

I like the look of black on black, and just when I get tired of one wheel set-up, the seasons change and I get a "new" car for another six months!

I have the 2LT / RS added JBA Headers and Magnaflow exhaust system. IMO if you add badges to make your car something it is not...That's just plain wrong.

I drive a 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS.

The only thing I did to it was...

Blackened the Gills, Mail Slot, and Trunk Lip
Drop-In K&N Air Filter
Removed Camaro Badging off fenders
Front Mud Flaps
SMD LED's in the DRL's
FieldGoal's wiring harness
Tazmanian Devil Floor Mats and...

...My own awesomeness when I sit in it.

I'd consider replacing the front end for an SS front end as I like the look of the mailslot, just looks meaner imo. I would keep the RS badges though and would never consider badging it as an SS

Oh I forgot. I am going to put Hid's in my car but I am not putting them in to try and be an SS/RS. I just dont like the halogen lights at night. They just aren't bright enough.

I'll start.
I drive a 2010 Camaro 1SS/RS 6M in IBM. Everything on the outside of my Camaro is correct. However, I did add a GM aux gauge cluster and GM silver plastic door/dash inserts from a 2SS. Not bad except that I also added B.A. badges on my door speaker grills even though I don't have the B.A. stereo system.
This is NOT the same thing as re-badging a V6 as an SS for example. There's a big difference in wanting some accessories from other models than actually
re-badging your car to say it is something that it is not.

You are not posing at all. You are putting the car the the way you like it.
Your actions are not causing your car to be something that it is not.

Hey that's a good idea... I just might do that if I think it looks better.

Everyone can have their opinion thatís what is great about this country.
I like the look and thatís all that matters.
Bottom line itís still a V6 and proud of it.
Puts a smile on my face every time a spank a Rustang with a V8 then show them a V6 did the spanking not a V8.

I took the SS badging off and added the RS, didn't want anyone to think I was rich.

Not really, all 2LT/RS is just fine with me.

Has anyone taken the C A M A R O letters off their car ? What did you use to remove them ?

Not mine. Nothing added from an SS, don't plan on it either.

I don't believe in advertising your car to be something it isn't. That's the very definition of a ricer to me.

I believe anyone can do what they want it's your car change it all to your liking.
Myself I donít care what other people do, if someone wants to make their SS look like a LT good for you.
I think alot of the guys with V6 Camaroís like how the SS looks so why not itís your Camaro.

Making a V6 look like an SS is fine, but putting SS badges on one is just embarrassing

So, you're a man, you prefer women, and you dress like a woman too? I'm confused...

No faux-upgrades for me. It's already a 2SS, but I did have to slap a license plate bracket on the front of it due to state laws. So I guess it kind of looks like a rental car from the front. :(
