Question Still wondering?

I have searched through a bunch and asked a couple of times but haven't gotten a straight forward answer yet. Does Solo Mach-X catback have any drone on the LS3? If it does i will just get the Corsa but if not i will consider Solo. Thanks very much in advanced.

Drone...Like I said before, if I'm riding a beast born from the womb of the underworld and it wants to "purr" a little at highway speeds... I think I'd man up and enjoy it.

Translation : buy a system that you enjoy the sound of, you drive an ls3 just shift or vary your cruising.

I have an LS3 with the Solo Mach-X system, and I don't really notice any "drone" at cruising speeds. I've read many reviews of people that said they did have a bad drone with this systems, but I haven't noticed it in my system. Either that, or it just doesn't bother me the way it does other people. One thing I will warn you about, is that it does have some decel popping when downshifting. I've heard people complain about that too, but I like it!!!

Is'nt it a V6 situation ? ( drone @ 2,000 RPM).

Solo makes a J Pipes version for the V6 drone, not sure they have it for V8. Did'nt make a research since I own a V6 and that my choice if for Solo's (next month).

QUESTION IS ASKED?

A good tuner should be able to minimize the poppoing noise on decel.

I appreciate the advice, but I'm not touching my car with a tune until after the warranty expires.

If you are in it for the warranty then I wouldn't do it either. My warranty was gone at 3000 miles...LOL
