Explain how those two look even remotely similar...
Your photos show how they're similar, the body color break between the headlight and the generic bathtub shaped black grille.

I think the Leno spoiler looks a little wimpy, but he pretty much got everything else right. The dovetail just reminds me of the 70's. The spoiler didn't stop just because the trunk did.

I dunno, I think you're reaching a bit. I guess if I take my right contact out and squint real hard I can kinda see what you're talking about.

But hey, if you don't like it, you don't like it. I'm not going to try and change your mind. That's an extra heritage grille I can buy

I wonder if this is the white pace car from last year, with new paint job? Anyone know?

I like the look and size of the dovetail from the front, its how it looks from behind. It comes all the way down to the tail lights. Why? It overwhelms the back of the car and looks plasticky and 'stuck on'. Not bad, but surely the guys that designed the awesome camaro can do a better job at designing the spoiler. I like the leno design as well but if they want real downforce out of this thing then the wrap around design is probably required.

Good to see the Camaro back at the Daytona 500
Can't say that I'm a fan of the dovetail though Does not flow too well with the back of the car. Looks aftermarket.

The Camaro Pace Car is definitely getting a workout at the race, lots of duty with all the crashes!

All three of the 2001 Camaro Daytona 500 INDY Pace Cars are running GMPP Licensed Supercar Coilovers. I will issue a $250 Pedders Gift Certificate to the first Camaro5 member to post a picture of the Supercars on the Daytona 500 Pace Cars! Still no posted photo...
