side vent/gill graphics opinions

So I just got my Camaro and was wondering what you guys thought about them. I was considering buying the graphic accents to help make them stand out and add some personality to it. Btw mine is SW with IO interior. I was leaning towards the IO or BLK graphics.
I'm new here and any opinions are welcome
Thanks

Just buy some and will give then a try. If you don't like them pull them off. That's what I'm doing, they were only $18 shipped.

Where did you get yours from SUX2BU? I found a site that has them but they cost about 30 or so.

Yea the two things I'm intrigued to add the most are the side vent accents and hood spears. I was thinking orange for both since it'll match the interior.

Do you guys have suggestions for high quality places to buy them?

Got mine from Ridergraphix but I havent put them on yet due to the same hesitancy... I ordered their bowtie blackouts and they're a wonderful product, but I'm leary with the side vents for some reason.

I used Big Worm and Rider Graphics, both excellent products. The pro who installed them was very impressed with the quality of the vinyl.

I did mine in a black fade that I got from MS performance. I love the look personally.

Those look pretty sweet. Idk if I should go use black or inferno orange for the color though. I'm pretty sure i'm gonna get them, just gotta pick a color. I want it to match the hood spears when i get them it just depends on how orange accents would look. Hmmmm O.o

Hugger orange is quite different from IOM (the latter of which is more towards red). That said, I don't know if you'd notice a huge difference with something as small as the gill inserts.

I got mine from emblempros (plastic, not vinyl):
http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/2739
(sorry I don't have pics to post - not at my home CPU)

Everyone that looks at them thinks they're real and I wanted something a bit more durable than vinyl after reading about all the gill paint-chip issues.

I've seen his in person and they DO look NICE painted / cleared on!

Same as his hood / trunk stripes (CGM on White).

I've got the same accents. I really like them and get compliments on them a lot.

Hmmm.....off the top of my head I wouldn't think that orange gills would look as good as black. I could be wrong though.

I like the back no matter the color of stripes. It would be a decision between going with the faded ones or solid black......and if I had to do it again I would lean towards the faded ones personally.

it's kind of a standard deal here at my dealership when they get new ones i go ahead and put the side vent shadows i have on. it makes it look more like a real louver and i almost always use the matte black...just makes it look more real. i did a plain black one the other day with red side vent, red windshield and red pinstriped hood accents. it really jumped out with the red on the black. the side vents looked real good in red ...but not real.

I'd do the black, or even better yet the black ones that fade. The whole reason for them is to make the gills appear that they are open and functional. If they were actually cut they would appear black/shadowed in the openings. They definitely wouldn't look orange. Black will look cool, orange will look a little ricey in my opinion.
