Different CAIs & tune question

Looking at different cold air intakes. I don't really want a tune at this time, due to the possible waranty issues. My car currently just has a cat back, chambered exhaust. Has anyone had good luck with any certain CAIs without a tune? Any noticable difference?

Most of the intake systems available for the 5th generation Camaro do not require a tune. The CAI Inc system, our best seller, produces 13-15rwhp with no tune.

I tested all of the Cold Air kits that would participate, the spread sheet lays out all of the details necessary to make an educated decision and pick the one you like best.

If you have any specific questions I will be happy to answer them for you.

This is a good read

I make money off tuning and if you are just adding a cold air intake system, Na you wont need a tune.

Your car will always run better with a tune, but you shouldnt throw any codes adding an air filter system

I like the Halltech Yellow Jacket and it did well in Ted's tests.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

Thanks for all of the input guys & thanks for the links JANNETTYRACING, very interesting/helpful. Both of the CAI Inc & Halltech appear to be top notch units. I was originally leaning towards the SLP Blackwing, with whiper replace deal, but will probably go with one of these 2 now.

Thanks!

And don't forget that you can add an ADM Scoop to the Halltech or Roto-Fab. It's got to help. You get tons more air that way. Highly reommend adding the scoop.
