coil relocation?

Has anyone relocated their coils to somewhere out of sight? like the back of the cylinder head or under the cowl? i really hate the big transformers style engine cover and would like to leave it off but i would like to hide the ignition coils and use some nice aftermarket valve covers. posibly relocate the heater hoses and paint the manofold. any info on relocating the coils would be good.
