'97 3.8 a/c recharge point?

Hi, fairly new to my camaro, just wondered if anyone had 'recharged' their air conditioning on the 3.8 V6 - I can see 2 ports where to possibly charge on and I think I know which one, just wanted to check with someone who has maybe done it before.
Thanks for any help.

the ports should be different sizes

but you should service the high press side

STOP!!!!

You should not service the HP side..

Your recharge kit for 134 a will only fit one side. Low pressure.

NEVER mess with the high pressure side unless you are a qualified AC Tech.

my bad... low press side. I was looking at a picture of the LT1 ac and the lines are reversed.

LOW PRESSURE SIDE.... unless you have a servicing machine to hook up to both ports.

but the recharge kits will only attach to the low side

Hi,
Thank you for the advice given folks, I appreciate that. I'll hopefully be able to recharge the system this weekend, and I'll let you know if I have any problems. I do have a shop where I took my old taurus too where I may end up taking it if I don't feel comfortable recharging it myself. I am comfortable working on most parts of the car myself but just when it comes to the a/c I didn't have a need for it back in Scotland (!) so therefore don't have a lot of experience as such with that. Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes if you want.
Thanks for the help folks!
