Washer Reservoir for ADM Race Scoop
Here is the solution I came up with. This is a 2 quart tank with a remote fill and 6 feet of tubing. The kit comes with a 12V pump which I did not use.
The stock pump fits nicely into the new tank. It is necessary to cut off the post on the stock pump in order for it to fit the new tank. Here is the new tank with the stock pump attached to the ADM Race Scoop. The new assembly installed. I routed the fill hose in the gap near the radiator. I mounted the remote fill to the bracket for the stock air box. When it gets warmer out and I have more time, I am going to mount it to the side of the air box. I had the manufacturer put an unvented cap on the reservoir and a vented cap on the remote fill. When I went to fill it it was filling ok initially but then stopped. I realized that it was vapor lock preventing me from filling the tank. ![]() I switched the caps and then it filled normally. What's nice about this solution is that it uses the stock wiring and plumbing. Also, you don't have to look at a large tank when you open the hood. |

I am trying to get one of the forum vendors to offer it up for sale. I am not sure what the retail mark up will be so I will not post any prices. I will leave that up to whoever sells it. Stay tuned.

Why run it through a vendor? It will likely raise the total price and not provide anything in return. Not try to be a dic...just curious.Edit: I think I get it. "They" can customize that tank to allow the stock pump to sit in there without cutting. Nice find. Hurry up though.lol

That's not a bad idea. I got the hose from the tank manufacturer. That would probably a good mod for the end user.

Do you feel that the scoop's build and the way it's mounted can long term handle the weight of the tank, pump, and 2 quarts of fluid? I don't have a scoop yet so just curious.

I had not considered that. I do not believe it will be a problem. It is made from aluminum sheet. The vertical wall is only about 4 inches tall and the depth is about the same.

Really creative. Looks good. I just stuck a cheap WWF tank where the old airbox post is next to the CAI box.
But if I had to do it over I would get the new Roto-Fab tank. Check it out.

Sorry, I figured it was assumed from the earlier question.
mlee - thanks looks like a total of two pop rivets and the method of mounting more than enough to support the side loaded weight. Going to check on ordering later this morning.

One of the vendors here on the forum has agreed to carry this washer assembly. It will take a few weeks to get parts from the manufacturer. All of the details are being worked out and will be posted as soon as possible.
