Door sill plates are installed, but I've already gone and spent more money here at the f[body gathering. Got Oracle led side markers, inside dome light, trunk light, tag light and footwell lights....wow, they are awesome! Good job AAC!

Pictures to come tomorrow!

The pictures don't do the lights justice. I have one of the footwell lights and one of the sidemarkers! What a difference, really!

Since I'm back on the "front page" I should update my mods. I have a Vararam cold air intake sitting in my foyer as we speak. I want to know the perfect install instructions before I get it installed, as I know there are some "challenges" with it! My son is visiting and he told me yesterday that I woke him up with the bedroom shaking when I started my car in the garage. That was just with the MRT v2 exhaust. I can't imagine what it's going to sound like with CAI!

Diane, Hokie Dokie Pokie from Miscokie ( I know it is mis spelled) AKA the "HO Pirate Booty Boom Box a rockin Rum Queen.

I will start by being a little serious, I KNOW YOU ARE SHOCKED. I read the entire thread and my heart is touched more than you know. I know I give you hell everytime I can but it is meant in kindness and with the utmost of respect and affection.

I truly am sorry for your loss and I admire your stregnth and courage to keep on keeping on. If you ever need ANYTHING you know where I am.

OK Enough sappy sappy. Did you sell the Mustang?

But WTH you went from S/C'd V-8 to V-6 No I have seen and herd about your driving, Yes V-6 was the right choice for you.

Your car looks great, your mods are tastefully done and you truly are a Car Chick

Definitely SUBSCRIBED

John - thanks for your kind remarks! I traded the Roush in because it was "high maintenance"!

I think people come into our life for a reason....you and kelley are going to be good friends I have a feeling. Your car is special and now you know why mine is.

Well I am glad you have a car you can enjoy now......and yes I think most of us here have special reasons for these cars. Isn't it amazing how a "Car" can do that?

What else are you planning on doing to your ride?

Not sure....my list has the houndstooth inserts for the seats, and I have the cold air to put on. Maybe paint stripes instead of vinyl. You know I can drive it as fast as a V8, so I don't need more horsepower

Not sure about the interior work but if you are going to get some paint work, PLEASE check out the shop or you will get Baptized by FIRE.

The CAI should be pretty easy- I'm sure someone from ACE5 can put it on.

OH I know about your driving........

"I like your car"

The GFX look good unpainted

If the clear bra covers the stripes I'd leave the vinyl till it starts looking bad.

Thanks for the compliments...yep, water in the sidemarkers, but AAC is going to make good on their lifetime warranty and send me new ones, just got to eat the labor and get them replaced somewhere....this time the back is going to be sealed though! I think that will do the trick!

Next mod is an air conditioner that works

It's pretty apparent to me that some part of the system is defective. Original compressor failed over the weekend......
Compressor replaced Tuesday....failed before I could get out of the dealership parking lot.....tech says the compressor shaft, (yes I said shaft) can't remember the term, but basically sheared.....
He is going to have to get technical assistance from GM....I have seen where this is happening on several 2011s....
Too hot for no AC, luckily I have a daily driver that is super nice and dependable, so no worries there, just irritating!

Hi Diane,

It looks like you choose the blue ambient lighting for the inside. Am I right?

That' one of my birthday or Christmas.
