Stupid question, but where does the Airbag come out in the event of deployment? If it is where you put the lettering that would hurt getting smacked in the face with.

How does the airbag get deployed? I don't think the dash would fly at you and make contact. I thought it would fold back and the airbag would come out.

Or paint it black and put it on the trim

That is why I asked the question as I do not know where it comes out. I used to work for a company that made air bags for BMW's, and the dash airbag would split the dash and come out that way. If you have letters on the dash when it breaks apart a letter could poke your eye out or worse be imbedded into your head. Hey someone has to think of this stuff.

Or "ARO" or "MARO" depending on where the parts fly. At 180 mph when those bags deploy I sure don't want to get hit with anything. I wear glasses and I am sure that will hurt like hell.

From taking the dash out of the car, i can say its going to come out on top, so he is safe.

Looks good too.
