Stock muffler replacement - just mufflers

I beleive my stock mufflers are buzzing and I need to do something about it. I have SOLO midpipes and the sound of those with stock exhaust is about all the sound I care to have. Looked into a couple of catbacks, but don't want spend a grand or more. I did find a catback system that I like but needed resonators added to bring the sound down a bit. For now I just want to replace the buzzing mufflers. I'm thinking about getting a set of Borla Pro XSs from Wicked Nicky. I know the inlet outlet is 2.5 but do we go with center/center or some type of offset?

Thanks

Yeah, I still want know. A pair of Pro XS is about $180 and tips, if you want new, about $150. Thats a discount axle back. I'd assume the center/center would work but someone has to know what is for certain.

I've got the Solo Cats too, and have been thinking flowmaster mufflers in place of stock. I like the sound with stock mufflers. Just don't like the look of the mufflers.

Those high flow cats change the sound of everything. And I understand what you mean by not liking the look.

Since you've got the SOLO midpipes, have you looked into SOLO's catback system? (I also heard a rumor they were working on an axelback system.) I think their sound is great and it's priced at under $800, which includes shipping.

As much as I like their midpipes, that Mach X catback with midpipes sound at start up and revving wasn't something that appealed to me. The price of just the catback was ok but the sound wasn't. I've been told they have resonators at additional cost that can be added and it sounds awesome that way. But now we are nearing the 1000 dollar mark. If my stockers weren't buzzing, I wouldn't even consider changing them out yet.
