Question Flowmaster axleback on a L99

Anyone have this? If so how do you like it?
How loud inside and out?

I think most of the FlowMaster setups are the full cat back system. But as far as the full American Thunder system, I would think all that have got them wouldn't settle for anything else ...

I love my flow master system. Once you change your headers, CAI, and Tune it you will really appreciate it. Check out my video and you can get an idea.

Why???? Why???? Sorry.... but... why???? Go full cat back! You will NOT be dissappointed, and you'll get a better sound, better performance and a simple, cut-less- bolt on installation!!! Worth the couple hundred xtra!!!!

I have the cat back. sound is deep and not cheap or tinny sounding at all. I did put an ADM tune on it to get rid of the 4 cy crap and juice up the performance. i have had flowmasters on about 8 cars/trucks. love the sound.

Thanks guys...I don't have the money to do it all
right now. I might start at the back and work my
way forward. After the axleback do x pipe and remove
the resonators. LT's and high flow cats later.

I understand the funding issue, and if you could save a few more pennies and hold off and get the full 3 inch catback ... its around $600.00 and it sounds good IMHO. If you getting the Hushpower axle back... its cost around $400.00 -$450.00 (est) .... I would just save up and get the whole catback.

Just my .02 cents.... but I completely understand about the $$$

SlingShot,

We offer full cat back and axle-back systems. Here are two of the axle-back systems we offer.

Here's a video of a Hushpower axle-back system and an American Thunder cat back:

Are the Hushpower mufflers a direct bolt on to the American Thunder piping..? The reason I ask, is because I plan to add LT headers and may need to tone the sound down.

Thanks!
