Just had the BMR strut tower brace and trailing arms installed!

Auto Adrenaline hooked me up with a quick install. and i love the new look and feel!! BMR makes some really great products. i kind of wrote them off b/c of the "cheap" prices but i was wrong... they just don't overcharge the customer, but still manage to bring awesome products!! thank u BMR!

here r some pics - by the way the black hammer-tone looks sweet!!

Tell me what u guys think!?

Glad you are enjoying your BMR parts. We do our best to provide you guys with a very good quality, yet inexpensive parts. We are in this market for the long run and don't want to take advantage of a popular market like other companies do. If anyone ever has any questions on our parts don't hesitate to give me a call and we can chat.

Why don't the BMR Strut tower brace fit the V6 Camaros? O_o I was looking at your pictures, and I thought it would be a nice addition to my car. But apparently, it does not fit V6

We will be releasing one very soon for the V6 cars, we are just waiting for the plates to be finished being lasered. I hope for it to be in less than 2-3 weeks.

I just purchased the 4 Point Strut Tower Brace at Maryland Speed for $199.05 with free shipping. Call John @ 443-730-9428 and he will get you hooked up. John is pretty new there but he very nice and will bend over backwards to help you.

Cool! I'd love to see that. I think Strut tower braces are very nice addition to the engine bay, Im definately open for it.

However, why doesn't the one sold right now fit? Is it just clearance with the hood?

Do you have to drop the struts to remove this when working on the engine ? I read the install manual and you have to drop them to install it.

Yes. We had to drop the struts. But it was no big deal. The whole install took about 45 min. And the majority of the time was spent on carefully drilling the mounting holes.

It's hard to believe but the V6 motor is actually higher than the V8 and requires more clearance. The new design utilizes smaller diameter tubing (double tubes vs. one large single tube), placed differently to accomodate the V6 intake manifold. It will also fit the V8 models. Look for this brace to be released shortly.

This is the part that scares most people yet is probably the simplest part of the install. The Zeta platform does not use a fixed upper mount strut retained by a bolt-in strut mount. Instead the upper mount literally "floats" in the strut tower. There is a single nut on top of the strut and a washer that prevents the assembly from falling out when the car is raised. Once you remove the two nuts and lift the car, the strut assembly lowers out of the way making it easy to work on the strut towers. It is important to recognize that the strut mount is self-aligning so your alignment is not effected during this process...

We also are working on a strut tower brace that fits the Maggie cars since we have a TVS 2300 on our shop car, and imagine it should be releases in the next month or two.
