Kevin/Stephen,

MTI tensioner needed to be shimmed out. I used the Evap valve bracket on the long bolt and used washers on the water pump side. Nearly perfect alignment with the KB drive pulley. I haven't noticed the belt hopping inward anymore. Found a SS version of M10x40 (1.50) at a local specialty shop. I just need to get the right belt size so when I tighten, the pulley position is just right... Yah... I'm picky. Now, the power steering pulley is beginning to bug me...

Got mine installed last week. Very nice piece. It's range of adjustment also allowed me to reverse the tension direction and run a smooth faced backside pulley so I could keep the belt tension in the direction of the SC pulley rather than pulling the belt away from it!

I know I know,

I'm working on it....

I was doing a search on the MTI Tensioner & Metco Pulley and found this thread. Kevin I sent you an email & PM, I purchased both Tensioner & Pulley, but like email states they won't work together with the supplied parts. Kind of disappointed that this wasn't pointed out on the site, as it leaves the consumer under the impression they do work together. The Stainless bolt supplied with the pulley is too short to work with the Tensioner and from some research I did, it seems they're 2 different bolt sizes (Tensioner & Pulley)...Does anyone know the right bolt size to use, since I want to keep the washer/cap that cap with the pulley.

Hopefully I'll hear back from Kevin today regarding this issue.

John,
The parts DO work together, we simply sent you the wrong bolt. Our mistake.

A longer bolt is needed when you pair the two parts together.
We have shipped you the correct bolt, and emailed the tracking number to you.

Thank you for your patience, everything is on the way!

bmbbl, shoot Kevin an email or PM for the bolt size. I had the size when we spoke, but I think I got rid of the specs.
