The ZL1 is absolutely awesome and beautiful. Your hard work has paid off with an incredible vehicle that will certainly rival and better the competition, no matter what model they bring forth to challenge the magnificent ZL1.

I have waited for quite some time for this car that I knew you would build and you have exceeded my expectations. I thank you very much. My order has been in with the dealer for some time and I look forward to taking delivery early next year. Steve

nice little mud guards integrated into the rear lower valance.

Anybody know if it will be on the floor and open to the public? Or is it just going to be on a blocked off platform?

super awesome! I want! But the best news is that 2012 Camaros won't have the weird taillights seen in some CTF cars!

Would love to know the word on price. The CTS-V starts at $65k so I imagine this has to be considerably less than that. Probably $50k - $55k. I would love to hear what fbodfather has to say about the steering wheel. If they scrutinize every detail of the car like he says then surely there is a good reason why they went with just the standard Chevrolet wheel.

I'm liking the steering wheel the more I notice the detail to it. Check out the HQ pics thread. The flat bottom, suede, nice big thumb grooves, ZL1 emblem on the bottom. It's definately not just the corporate wheel, some similarities, but I'm now liking it. I probably would rather see Camaro or ZL1 in the center instead of the bowtie, but that's nitpicking. There's also a nice ZL1 badge above the glove box.

I'm liking this whole car more and more as I keep noticing new things.

Anyway, basically GM has no issue with SLP using the ZL1 for the rest of the 2011 buildouts. Now come 2012, it didn't say, but I inferred that meant once the ZL1 went into production, that SLP couldn't use ZL1 anymore. But I could be wrong, as I most often am when I'm trying to guess what OEM's do.

I love it. However, I hate.... the suede!! I don't mind the new steering wheel, I actually prefer the new fog light setup. But I do not care for the suede at all, enough that it has me hindering on whether to get one.

Also, I didn't read through all the love, but I talked to my dealer source and he's saying $58,000 (that's CAD).
