Cool High Flows

Hey all,

I just got done installing my magnaflow axle-back exhaust and k&n cold air intake and already I want more mods! The only catch is that I am not wanting to void my warranty so my choices are somewhat limited.

I have heard several things to the tune of: shorty headers, high flow cats, full cat-back exhaust. Is there anything else I can do to increase HP to make my car feel and GO as wicked as it sounds? On top of that, does anybody have a sound clip or vid of high flow cats coupled with an axleback system? I did a quick search and came up with beans -_-.

thanks alot y'all!

HF cats will pretty much double the decibles of you exhaust. and add about 15hp from what i have read, maybe more. my car is pretty wicked sounding with them!

caper, if you don't mind me asking, what set-up do you have on your vehicle?

I can second the high flow cats. I went with a pair of Solo's and never looked back.

Bark is good, with the axle-backs my car can roar back at the mustangs when they pull up, now some high flow cats should help me shut em up entirely. just doin the whole "saving money" thing so I can order these bad-boys. Did y'all do the install yourselves or is it something you'd recomment a pro-shop doing?

i had a shop do them, due to not having a lift etc...they also only charged about 80 to do it. im pretty sure i could do the job myself, i was just being lazy and thought the 80 was worth my time..if it was 200 to install, i would have been under the car lol

I had the JBA High Flow Mid-pipes and they made a HUGE difference in sound and did make 15rwhp over the factory cats.

Ok lets here a rundown of the HF Cats, I know many here like the Solo's but what other choices are there which are a true bolt in. I would also love to see a before and after dyno sheet.

That would be nice but at $100 for 3 pulls and then install and pay another $100. I won't be doing it. If I had a shop install them I could get that done, but it defeats the purpose of me installing them myself.
