Would y'all trade in for the new ZL-1?

Man, That ZL-1 is SWEET! I love ol' blue to death, wouldn't trade her for ANYTHING! BUT IF I happened to come into some decent money, say about 10 grand to put down as a deposit, (I'm thinking a ZL-1 's gonna START at 60 grand) and traded her in, I could possibly get one, even though my payments would be around 800 bucks a month..

Oh man, it's gonna bug me until I get to the dealership next year and see one up close..Then I'M SCARED of what might happen!!

That ZL-1 makes me feel like I have a secret mistress....I don't wanna lose my baby for a younger, hotter model! (or DO I ????)

How about y'all???

I will keep my 2010 and keep building it up the way I want it.
After I get the supercharger, heads, and other goodies installed I will be perfectly happy.
Plus,I do not like the front of the ZL1 with the goofy looking fog light/driving light combo.

I'll be paying mine down, and saving up to hopefully get one in a year or two.

Man, if the "better half" would let me, heck ya, I'd trade mine in in a heartbeat!!! I want to be on the early order list by the end of this year. Trying to convince her to let me do that very thing, but it's not working yet!!! Guess I need to "schmooz" her a little more!

I would if I had another daily driver and a lot of extra cash on hand. I would not want to rack up so many miles on what may possibly be a very special car in collector's eyes in the future.

At 60 there would have to be some gold in the glove box. High 40's, it will be in my garage. Since the GT500 starts at the high 40's, and they said it will be price competitive.... I'm hoping and saving.

Not any time soon. Keeping the beast until it falls apart or gets totalled. Once it gets paid off I may consider the ZL1.........if it comes in Blue.

Any idea what dealer markup will be on a ZL-1?
I'm thinking $10k for a down payment will just cover the markup.

I wish, but I know it would be possible unless I won the Super 7 tonight. So I will be just slowly upgrading my SS to match/or exceed at first cosmetically and then maybe performance wise to make its own breed.

For the looks...maybe, I really like the wheels, hood, interior and drivetrain. For the performance, NO WAY..my 2010 SS is already above it and will soon be even more above it for less money than the ZL1 will cost at bone stock. If I got the ZL1 I'd be modifiying it too and in the long run would cost about 15 to 20 K more overall than it will with my SS to get it where I want it.

Looks like I'm keeping my 2010 now and Supercharging it, I was hoping for a Supercharged Z28, I absolutely love the ZL1, but there are not enough changes in the car to make me want to trade my awesome 2SSRS.

Nope. Not until the car completely changes. Even then I might still hang on to my SS.

Magnetic ride would be nice, but I have adjustable coilovers. Keeping mine till I'm forced to get rid of it (which won't be for 40+ years hopefully)

All that perf with a 100k mile warranty to boot.

I'll probably trade up when I pay this one off in 2014.
