Yes, I am serious. I do not like the look of the Challenger, unless it is all blacked/murdered out and lowered, then it looks alright. I love performance sedans and performance SUVs.

Seems to me a pretty close race for all these cars
Close if you are blind? The difference between 13.0@111 and 12.4@116 is 120-feet at the finish, with the winner still pulling away like a bad dream that you cannot wake up from.....

Glad my LS3 Vette went 11.80@ almost 119 bonestock, didn`t even let air out of the tires. I don`t like nightmares....:(

Oh look here`s me now against a bonestock GT-500 when I was bonestock:

Not my best pass of the day, but close and perhaps a bad dream for the GT-500..

Other car 2008 C6 Ls3, z51, A6, Npp Exhaust, best bonestock pass 11.80@118.82, Number 2 on the Corvette Forums Bonestock fastest list..

It wouldn't of been a bad dream for my 2011 when it was bone stock and also trapped 119mph my first time ever at the track with a RWD and a 550hp manual on 20's with heat soak none the less. ET wasn't great at 12.3 but it was moving on the top end with 118-119's all session. I was shooting for 10's on stock power but that was before I the cooked my cat's with my 2 step. I think 124mph is the fastest stock powered 2011 so far.

Lol crazy thing is the GT500 has 120 more hp then an LS3 vette. Yeah its 500 or so pounds heavier but damnnnnn, that just speaks to how well put together the vette is.

IDK its because of how well its put together but more along the lines of its kick ass drag coefficient of .29 vs .38 for the 2010 GT500. The GT500 is like pushing a brick through aerosol whipped cream at speeds over 100mph. Its not all about raw power, just look at Formula 1 going to 4 cylinders this year.

hmmmm yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Thats why I said that just speaks to how well the Vette is put together. lol

The GT500 would be a beast as well if Ford put a little more time into putting it together instead of just changing some parts from a regular GT. Same thing will go for the ZL1, would be an absoulte beast if they refined it. Missed opportunties on these cars. That's my point.

Omg,.....that car looks so ugly! Wish they added some type of sexy styling. Dude it looks like it's Ford's attempt at creating a Corvette,...and they fail epically. Estimated performance aside,......I faceplam the looks of that car.

Yeah, the drag is way lower, I`m sure its killing my Camaro as well. Love the "Brick through aerosol whip cream" comment! I believe that 500 was either a 09 or 10 model. Can`t remember, haven`t run an 11 yet. Impressive mph to say the least on those things.

I feel the need to chime in on the cross-company slamfest.

I drove a SRT8 Magnum for 4 years. I loved that car. It was an absolute monster with just bolt-ons and a tune. Consitent mid-12's in the quarter in Texas....which means there was plenty of heat and a high DA. The problem with Dodge is their business sense. They are just way out there on a lot of things. I remember seeing 2 commercials for the Magnum when it first released and I fell in love with it. Owned a black RT then traded up to a red SRT8 when I was finally able to get my hands on it. Then all the commercials stopped. No talk whatsoever. And SRT advertisement?? Ha! I still haven't seen any of that. So in the end, Dodge scrapped the Magnum...and the following year Mercedes, BMW, and Cadillac all released sport wagons and sold them well.

The value of Dodges plummets so fast that it is hard to make the investment in another one. That is one of the main reasons I went over to the Camaro. And because the Camaro looks like a serial killer stalking dark streets. Just sick...

A couple things. First i agree on the advertising, but disagree that would have saved the Magnum. As a country we really don't buy wagons. In fact I would say it has been 10 years plus since this country has really had any interest in wagons. Remember when there were taurus, Camry, Accord, Celebrity, Caprice, etc, etc, wagons on the road? Well, the interest just isn't there anymore. that is why the a new Durango was a MUCH better investment than a new Magnum. Also, while the CTS, E class, etc is available in wagons, they can be and survive on the low volumes they sell at (maybe 1-2k a year in the US? As for resale value, I don't exactly see GM cars having great resale value, infact it is just the opposite. The Camaro (and for Dodge the Challenger) is the exception, not the rule.

Really like the new chargers and really can't wait to see the srt8 in person. So many people R calling it ugly and a rip off of the evo, completely agree with the second part. I really do like dodges transformation. It's new, modern, and AWD. May also include that I will never get rid of my camaro, the ss is an awesome birth of Chevys modern muscle car. To sum it all up though it is a stretched out evo, but with the challenger to compete with the 5.0 and ss, dodge did need to change their competition for the charger.

Chrysler only moved several hundred SRT8 Chargers last year, just random note.
