Cool Ground Effects Issues/Reviews

I am ordering my 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS (CGM/Blk Stripe) this week and I was told by a dealer that people are having problems with the ground effects. The dealer stated that because the car is fast, the ground effects has not been staying attached. This didn't sound right to me so I thought that I ask you all what are your reviews on the GM ground effects package.

if the stock ground effects are coming off, you are driving at least 300mph. The front splitter has bolts, rivets and everything else attaching it. Sound like if the dealer sells it, he's required to install himself and not the service dept.

there were some issues with improperly installed ones at first. The kits were modified and no longer have issues.

Your dealer isn't very bright I havent had any problems with mine, I bought my car without them and bought the kit and installed it my self, it was just the front that they had problems with when they first came out and they changed how its mounted its all good now..

Yes, at first, the GFX's installation instructions were incorrect and some were falling off, but GM quickly identified the problem and corrected it. I think it was installing rivets on the front splitter. I have had no problems with mine. I think there is an install video for the tech to watch that will help him correctly install. Make sure they do it right and you won't have any problems and you'll love the looks!
