only 800 because of the octane issue with gas....havent really thought about the rear end except for getting the pfadt bushings; gunna look into getting work done to it while my engine is being rebuilt (if i decide to do that)l

i dont plan on drag racing it that much. line lock kit is only a couple hundred for the kit right?

i ordered my flameproof jacket last night and roll cage is gunna be installed pretty soon too

went by Blu808 last night. im painting my calipers red. also got to hear how my car sounds with open headers......DAMN!! freakin loud. cant wait to try it out on the freeway under boost . rotors went on last night as well.....now if only my brake lines would arrive!

found out my gauge pod will ship tomorrow as well as the carbon fiber fenders i ordered. everything should be here next week.

We decided to just replace my broken axel with another stock one for now. I'm going to get my 1400hp axels ordered in the next week or so, most likely from DSS.

Only 800,
I would of thought you was setting that car up for alot of drag strip time with the cage and that kind of power. Noway you will ever get 2/3 of that power out on the street. I do think its cool to hear about though, which is why I will continue to follow your build to see where it goes.

Yeah, I have to agree with this statement. I am bone stock and I rarely - if EVER - use all 426 horses on the street.

Josh, why are you getting a cage put in if you aren't going to drag race it? I've never heard of that being a requirement for AutoX, though I'm definitely not an AutoX expert.

The KB 3.6 is supposed to be a great blower capable of some big numbers. It may or may not fit under your hood if your cowl isn't much higher than the stock hood.

Might be looking at going with a supercharger instead of the TT now, gunna get some specs.....looks like a good system for the price. The 3.6L is $8k polished with 4.5 intercooler and ram air pipe, tuner, new fuel rails and a boost a pump.....just gotta find out the clearance and if i can get away with their 4.2L

Congrats on COTW! I read through all 10 pages. Dude, you're an addict too. Chasing HP. I love the added torque of my maggy...and I've made a few attempts at putting the HP to the wheels at the strip. It's very hard on street tires, but I'm afraid of putting anything else on there. I don't want to keep chasing the next weakest link. It is only for fun for me, not competition. I haven't added headers or cam like you, but I'm satisfied with the torque. I'm still considering what to add to my convertible. I was hoping you were going with turbos, cause I would like to hear your comparison of the maggy and dual turbos.

I really like the things you have done. Well deserved COTW! I'll keep tabs on how your addiction manifests itself!

Thanks for the compliment! I was hard set on turbos but install is going to cost more and this is pretty much a DD for me and most people say the superchargers are better to go with than turbos. Plus i would lose my headers with the TT setup and I love my sound, especially with my cutouts

I should be able to order my new engine in the next couple weeks.....sooooo close!!!!!
