Portland show pics (SIM LT) plus bonuses

OK, So I went to the Portland International Auto Show... First off, THANKS Camaro Brian... was awesome meeting you and talking to you today.

Secondly... Finally seeing a production car. I'm so happy with it. Its better looking then anything else. When i finally sat down in it... Well I"m a big guy, and it fits very well. The center console is supportive, especially for my resting position. It will make shifting a breeze. It wasn't lit up, but my GOD i love the gauge stack. Also, the under-hood emblem is perfect... I really like it. and the exhaust. I tried to get some pictures.

I have also put in some pics of other GM products

Ok i think thats enough for now... I'll get another thread going for the random ones.

Oh yeah if you notice the door... This has the full serial number.... so effectively this is saleable... Thought it was kinda cool... Still confused by the weight though.

Great shots.

I was kinda hoping that there would be some camaros at Daytona with the cloth interior. But no luck.

I'd really like to see the cloth in person... Still thinking I'm gonna get a 1SS.

About the weight...GVWR... That is what the vehicle is rated to be 'allowed' or recommended INCLUDING PASSENGERS and luggage etc

Nice pics,

Went there today afternoon and have pretty much the same feedback. The car is bigger than I thought but still had quite a nice character and nice "square" stance.
The wheels are huge... I'm speaking about the diameter of the wheel + tire .... I was impressed by that. It must be what allows this relatively big car to look smaller than it is.

Love the sensation in the cockpit : nice and room enough. The high belt line and thin windows give a real hot rod impression. Pretty cool. Materials where honest and finish too.
Was great to see the real car finally !

Thanks for the pics! These are the best pictures of the production-intent silver interior that I've seen.

It looks like it in this pic, but can you confirm that the headliner is silver too?

The silver interior is what I want and if the headliner is silver, as it appears to be, then I'm completely sold on it.

Im liking the LS interior. Its probably going to be the same as the 1SS interior, except with the SS sign on the headrest of the seat. Looks really nice. I still hate the steelies.

I like those seats. I'm seeing more and more of the nicer looking gauges in all these pics, thank god,i thought GM was going to put those god-awful handwritten looking gauges we saw a few months ago. I'm relieved.

LTs comes with 18, and 2LT comes with 19 and pirellis
Thanks for the pics, but if i was going to get a LS, i would opt for the 1LT

looks like someones been driving that one. little bit of rust under that bottom.
those cloth seats look so much nicer than the cloth in the 4th gen. man i hated those stupid patterns they used to do on the cars in the 90's

This is the base version of the car - LS. Isn't that correct? Those particular cloth seats (with the subtle stripes) are unique only to the LS. The cloth seats in the LT and SS cars are a "sport" cloth - doesn't have the stripes. However, both versions of the cloth seats look great. Gotta love that.
