Bro, does it really matter, if you like the car, then you own/drive it, if not, join Mike and get a Euro box... Just kidding on the last part...

I've learned to not put so much stock in the newsies that write articles.... One of them spouts some idea, and the rest of them jump on the bandwagon as so many of them are incapable of thinking for themselves... Yesterdays Hero is todays Zero... catch phrase of the day, whatever cliche you want to throw at it.... they all fit...

My car is heavy, and solid, and it feels it... It's also safe... look at the Crash ratings, it rides amazing... and it will still outperform and out turn most of the vehicles on the road....Is it a 100,000 Euro Racer, no... 200,000 Porch < [sic] no... What it is, is a very safe, extremely comfortable car that is fast and gets pretty dang good mileage for weighing 3900 lbs... It is much more survivable than probably "most" any sports/muscle type cars in History... Drive it, enjoy it, and feel safe in it... don't worry so much about the writing heads in the magazines... they are self professed experts... but it's my butt in the seat of my Camaro, not theirs...

Back in black- Are you kidding me? Do a Google search on 2010 Camaro large and heavy and you will find probably 100 articles.

I AM NOT complaining, I love the car just like it is. I just don't understand how the car can feel large. I think it feels nimble and very comfortable.

Not what I'm talking about. Ask buyers, not critics. Lmao
most buyers could give a rats ass, don't get me wrong there are some hardcore enthusiasts that hate the weight, but they are a small group.

Well people who aren't on the taller side. I am 5 9 and my knees were hitting the seat, and with the sunroof, my head hit the ceiling

The challenger has a lot of room in the back seats. It has as much as some 4 door cars i've been in

I'm 6'4 and have headroom and legroom to spare. if you can't fit, adjust the darn seat and tilting steering wheel.

Yes the car is big, but you know what, if it was perfect then everybody would own one. It's perfect for the people that bought it. It's outselling the Mustang and Challenger, even with the supposed horrible large size, people still want it more than the competition. Case closed.

I went through every one of these and most are a bunch of joe schmoe's opinions of the car in forums or guys commenting on actual blogs. Some are actual excerpts taken out of context and others you listed just compare the Camaro to other NON-muscle cars (i.e. japanese sports cars) which couldn't be any more obvious of a comparison when it comes to weight/size.

Of course you don't think it feels big. You drove a Yukon. If you came from driving a tank, you'd think your Yukon felt small. Anyone coming from a sub-compact, compact, mid size, or even some full size autos will feel like the camaro is large.

We measured the garage bays to make sure it would fit before buying it - it IS large! It's almost as long as my husband's Silverado, and longer than my Montero. No complaints, though... Thankfully, the garage had plenty of room - I'd hate to leave her outside!!

I read a "journalist's" review who's primary complaint was the shift knob was too big.

I was being sarcastic!! The car is big but yet small and if it was that big one could fit in the back seat that was older then Six. I have yet to understand why there is a back seat...

I traded a Cobalt in on the Camaro. Yes, the Camaro seems large compared to the Cobalt. Is it a problem? NO. The damn Cobalt was too small. I'm not a teensy lady, and my Camaro fits me perfectly. These guys who have problems with how large the Camaro is should just go buy a mustank and enjoy life in the Ford Lane.

More of it to love.....
Also check the history, check the dimensions of this Camaro to 1st gens, within inches of them. Put next to my 68 almost the same size. The styling makes it look big.

The Silverado has gotten smaller over the years, remember a Cadillac was HUGE, now they seem to be midsize cars.

If this is your first Camaro you may think it is big, especially if you are coming from a SUB-compact but it is actually just the right size and I did not notice any difference from my other Camaros.
