I chaged mine today. It took all of 30 minutes or less to do, and it looked the same as the one I just did on my BMW, which was black, and now my AC should blow a lot better. A dirty cabin air filter will restrict the airflow from the AC and should be changed once a year. My 2011 will be 1 year old on Wednesday so it was due.

On the Left is the Old one, on the right the new one.

Just checked mine , have 10,000 miles after just over a year and it was not dirty at all, still looks very white, just used my air hose to blow it clean, very little dust came out, probably like new because I use recirculate most of the time.

Recirculating does help alot with this
