Thanks.

Water or other debris could enter the system and result in leaks or noises. Always install a new filter when removing the old filter.

Here is how you change it out

Remove the passenger side wiper cowl (held in place by a few push retainers Item 1 retainers item 2)
Remove the passenger compartment filter door. (Thin door see picture below item 10)
Pull out the filter and install a new one (item 9)

All this takes about 5 minutes and will make the air coming through the vents a lot easier to breathe especially during allergy season.

These are available from us at the amazing price of 26.37.

To order simply give us a call, shoot us an email or here they are in our Camaro catalog http://store.gmpartshouse.com/partlo...egoryID=167685
Good to know, thanks!

Got mine today and changed out the filter. I think the dealer installed the old one backwards though, the dirtiest side was the on the side where the arrow was pointed. Another reason I'm glad I do all the maintenance work on my car after the first service.

Almost two years since I got my car, and 16000 miles on the meter. Pulled mine out, and it didnt look that bad, but I should probably change it.

So, here a complimentary bump, but I do have a question. When is someone going to produce a active carbon filter for our rides? Right now I use a piece of active carbon from Lowes and cut it to size, but it is really hard to make it to where it stays in place. There is a very noticible difference in the air quality after the active carbon is installed. I'd even pay more for them.
