Ordering the Camaro?

Hi guys I am new to the site. Let me first say the Camaro is by far the most beautiful machine I have ever seen in my entire life. I used to HATE American cars, and the Challenger changed that. Ever since I saw the new Challenger I was in love. Then I stumbled on the Camaro. Let's just say I can never look at the Challenger again.

Anyway, I have an 09 Accord. I think I'm ready to switch to American, after all the years of hating it. My Accord has 2k miles on it and I could easily get 25 for it. I payed 35 so it shouldn't be hard selling.

So what I'm getting to is, by next year I'll obviously have the money, especially if I sold my car now. However, is it too late to order the new Camaro to get one at release?

Thanks! And sorry if this has been asked already, or is in the wrong section. This forum is so popular it's hard to search through.

PS. If it's too late I'll cry.

In this economy you'd be surprised.

Yeah, yeah. Don't crush my heart. :(

I need the money for this damn Camaro! I'll find someone. If I don't I'll have to work my ass off for some cash and then trade my car in.

Accord EXL V6 with leather go for 25 plus with a lot more miles than that.

That'd be my car right there.

So anyway, if I went to the dealership tomorrow to order a car, what would they ask from me? And how soon would I get my car?

First off, thanks for considering American. You have no idea how much some of us appreciate it.

You'll need to configure a Camaro with your trim levels, transmission choice, colors, etc, and give them your name/address and other personal info. Depending on the dealer, they may ask for a deposit.

Nobody can say when you'll get your car. You're a bit late in the ordering process, so you may have to wait a little longer.

Well, let's say a year from now I goto my Chevy dealership, any chance I'd be able to drive an SS off the lot?

A year from now, probably. Oshawa should have production ramped up to full speed by then.
