LT4 firebird

my brother told me about a guy around the area that has a 95 Firebird with an LT4 conversion kit that he's trying to sell. said he wants like 1500 for it, and it needs a new fuel pump. Is it worth buying? $1500 seems really low for a 95 V8 Firebird. I know the LT4 conversion kit is almost $3000 by itself... any thoughts?

maybe you should go check it if it's only a fuel pump then it's really cheap price

Make sure there is some proof that it has the LT4 stuff. The intake should be a sort of reddish/orange color. Even if it isn't that is a good price for a LT1 Firebird. Assuming everything else works.

06 Silverado

you need to verify it is a true LT4 conversion and not just a red-painted intake manifold. however, 1500 is not a lot for a 4th gen. and its actually a good deal if the only thing wrong is the fuel pump. thats a quick snip of the trunk panel to swap out.

find out as much as you can about the firebird. mileage, mileage on motor, what all was swapped, any codes on the engine, etc.
