At first I though 4.11 sounded too high but after thinking about it...I am never going to be driving over 170 mph so who cares about the top end speed. What i do care about is that I now rarely use 6th gear in my car because I have significant drone below 2000 rpms due to headers/exhaust and I'm at 80 mph+ to get over 2000 rpm's. So currently cruise highway at about 70-75 mph in 5th at 2100-2500 rpm's. If i went to 4.11's I'd be right around 2000 to 2200 rpms in 6th at 70-75. Waste less gas on the highway, no drone, quicker accleration...sold on 4.11's once I have the time and money to do it!

Yes, they broke, but only because of improper installation. I was very happy with the performance of the 4.33's but I found a brand new 3.70 geared, fully assembled center from Robin Lawrence. It was a a steal and I made the decision it would have to work until I fork over the money for the 9" setup.

I hope 4.33s are the cure for my NA "lag".

I can stomp WOT on 5th at 2000rpm and its like having a HUGE OVERSIZED turbo.. just NOTHING happens, imagine 6th

Well, when I had the 4.33's my car was fairly stock and it made a HUGE difference. I firmly believe it would have pulled to redline in 6th.

Darn it, this discussion is making me want to say "screw it" and drop the money into the 9" now!

Tried a 3:70 now have a 4:33 and love it. 3:70 not enough for an M6. Shift 1,3,5 around town at 2000rp with big cam. It will still hit 130 in 4th gear. 4:33 adds 110 ft lb of torque over stock gear. Cruise at 2,050 rpm @ 70mph and get 22-23 mpg on highway. Lost about 3 mpg on highway over stock with cam and gear. Keep the stock clutch.

I had 4.10 ... Loved them. I switched to 3.70 when I got supercharged. For FI 3.70 are a better choice IMHO. 4.10 with FI made 1st practically unusable. Now, with out FI I liked my 4.10. The car was always in RPM go zone. It may be appropriate to note the 4.10 came out of my car minus most of their teeth and shredded.

I heard they are even putting 3.70 in the ZL1.

If you added 3.70 gears can you give any feedback about how they feel? Did you feel the difference going from the 3.45 to 3.70? Do you ever feel like you might want a little more gear? If you had it to do again would you have gone with 4.11 gears?
I wouldn't waste my time at all with 3.70's. I don't feel its a big enough jump over stock 3:45's. I would just shoot for 3:91's. Had mine installed at Lashway Performance last night and I couldn't be happier. Night and day difference. Oh I do have a TSP 231-236 cam and I am an M6.
