Ground effect (gfx) installed

Great job by my friends at Atlantic Collission in Port Saint Lucie- Mike hooked me up! Painted in 2 days and installed in 1. Note the black satin center portion of the rear diffuser- I like to be different, lol! And wanted to keep some of the original look of the stock rear end (actually, the more I look at it, the more I'm split on the rear...hmmm...) Perfect paint match however!

Thanks! They're SLP 20" ZLs... I bought them from another forum member, but they are avaliable at a few retail sites. Just google "SLP ZL wheels..." I think they're selling at about $1300 without tires.

Nice car. Thanks for posting all the pics.

I'll also suggest drop springs and sway bars. Makes the car look better and way more fun in the twisties.

I don't know why, but the GM ground effects look better on the vert than the coupe. Nice ride. I didn't like the SLP rims before either, book they look great on this car.

Drago, having a twin of your car makes me wish I had your initiative. I'm at the opposite end of the country though and probably can't get away with the tint in our grey world. I love what you're doing and really appreciate all the pics and narrative. I'm waiting on some more photoshopping before I can do much to my car, but I'm looking forward to more updates (CAI) on yours!

I'm dead set against GFX as speedbumps and curbs are my mortal enemy, but even so yours look fantastic and task me.....

Tib-

I would agree with you about the GFX on my 99 Camaro; I had nothing but problems with them.scraping, However, these aren't any lower than stock was. It gives the impression of being lower, but for actual measurements of ground clearance... its not!

Nice job so far! Would like to see black stripes!!!

Glad to hear you not sold on the rear gfx. Would look better without it or, different manufacturer. You seem to have very good taste, I'm sure you will get it right.
