The insurance estimate came to $1,813.53. Added to the previous estimate of $1,059.10 gives me a grand total of $2,872.63. But because I filed two separate claims I get to pay my $500 deductible not once but twice. What really is the kicker is that the $2,872.63 is supposed to cover:

- removing, prepping, painting, clear coating, and reinstalling
  • hood
  • driver's side fender
  • driver's side door
  • driver's side quarter panel
  • trunk lid
  • Anvil Auto CF spoiler (which may/may not be damaged beyond repair)
- replacing and reinstalling
  • driver's side window
  • 35% tint on driver's side window (may drop down to 20% - not sure)
  • BLACK fender badging
  • black chrome rear bowtie (don't even know if I can get another one of these)

Days out for repair: 12

That seems VERY lite on the price. I was thinking closer to $4000.00

Well, is that 2872.63 before your 1k? Making it 3872.63 which sounds more where it should be.

Nope. It's $2,872.63 - $1,000 deductible = me getting a check for $1,872.63

Well I have figured out that it's the same person. Basically the guy is using a serrated knife (probably a Kershaw or something). You can tell because every once in a while you see parallel lines appear next to the main scratches.

Was the adjuster interested in the least about the video?

Complete paint job for $2800..... LOL

Get another estimate but don't show the body shop the adjusters estimate, see what happens.

Nope. He just told me that whenever they get more information to let Geico know right away.

just got off the phone with Geico. It doesn't matter if the guy keyed Kaylee the next day. Because I filed two separate claims I have to pay two deductibles

One word GEICO I had them too bro they suck! I had to file a claim on my car, and my wife's car when I tapped her car backing out of my driveway i scratched both mine and her bumper, we're on the same policy and GEICO made me pay two deductibles, they did the same thing when we had a hail storm.

My advice is dump them after this claim, check out Allstate, I used to not like them but they beat Geico's price for the same coverage.

Real sorry about your car bro, she'll be back in Tip Top shape before you know it.

just to much of a ***** to say something to you.....
the estimate is def low. should be near the 4-5K mark.
