Basically Kevin is getting as much covered by insurance as he can (aka half the car + a new anvil auto spoiler - satin finish this time) and then I'm paying the difference. Which at the end of the day shouldn't be too much. Kevin hasn't gotten me an official estimate because he's still submitting the supplement funds request to Geico, but it'll ballpark around $4,000.

Oh - and this is how I know D and V Autobody is a good shop. Kevin took me for a tour of the shop, and during this tour I saw: 2 ferraris, a brand new mustang GT500 (the wheels were epic btw), a Maserati (which has a really funny story), a lamborghini, and a brand new viper.

So the Maserati was in because the guy drove it off the road and (basically) totaled the rear suspension. That's fine, we all do stupid shit occasionally. But Kevin pointed out a half inch by three inch chunk of paint that was missing from the passenger door. It had rust on it. So it wasn't like it was rusting, it had already rusted. Kevin pointed it out to the owner and if he'd like them to fix it and the guy's response was "fix it? Why? This is my shit everyday car."

I apparently need to get on this guy's level. Where a $XXX,XXX car is your "shit" car.
