you would've felt bad?! what about me realizing i just trashed a guy's brand new engine?! let's just say, i sure wouldn't've had the money for my blown vette now.

as for 1000+... times eleventybillion!!!!!
what's better is last summer when i took my little cousin (i say little, but she's like 22 ) for a ride around some mountain roads in VA one night after the headers/cutouts but pre-blower, and she was making up a few expletives i'd never heard before!
as for further engine mods to mine, i've put my foot down & decided not to mod this LS1 anymore. 480/473 @ 8psi is enough.

stepping up to a forged 408 around 10-12 psi from my 2300 i reckon 7xx hp & tq in a 3200lb car should do me for a while. that way the LS1's still good to swap into the truck

compared to the 160k on my truck at the time, yours was new!
it'd be awesome if i get to come to Fest 3. i had to miss this years because it was in the middle of training. depending on when/where my next assignment & FTU is, i hope i have the time/ability to go. i get my wings in april & should PCS within a couple months of that.

They dynoed Larry's 427 TT yesterday... and lets say it's the most HP I've seen on one yet. Still have a direct port nitrous system used so far...

I saw where you were doing that... don't think you're going to ever need it, nice to be prepared for an easy install... and it looks cool too...

The mechanic asked me if I was ever going to put nitrous on the car when he was ordering the intake. I said, "I don't think so, but a year ago there was no way I was ever going to put a 427 TT in it either." So, I figured for only a small amount more I should have them include the ports.

Good call... and there's some more fun factor there too...
