Engine cover removal on LS3

I'm really not much on the engine cover that comes on the V8. I prefer the look of the fuel rail covers like on the vette. Does anyone think it will be possible to fit the vette style fuel rail covers on this engine setup, so you can see the intake manifold. I found a set of carbon fiber covers that don't say anything on them for sale on ebay.

Thanks.

Well since it is pretty much the same LS3 engine I would think you could, but not sure.

Here's the ebay link to the fuel rail covers I was thinking of going with. I'll try fitting the ones off my friends C6 to see if they work.

I have seen many 4th gen cars that had c5 fuel rail covers on them so i wouldn't think it would be any different with the new cars. I'm not big on the engine cover either. I enjoy lifting the hood and seeing whats making the power, not a chunk of plastic.

it will all depend on how the engine cover is mounted. ive seen on some cars that the intake manifold itself has studs that the cover mounts to.

did you swap out the brake vacuum hose for the longer vette hose when you did your frc's?
