2010 Onstar module compatible with 2011

Hey guys I am new to the forum and I am purchasing my 2011 LS this weekend! I am happy I found this forum and have been reading it religiously for the past 2 weeks.

That said I read about the Onstar Mod and I have a question.

I wanted to know if 2010 Camaro SS OnStar Communication Module will be compatible with a 2011 LS?

I have searched everywhere and couldn’t find my answer…

Thanks much

I'm going to take a guess, but I doubt that the module from a 2010 Camaro will work on a 2011 Camaro. Unfortunately, I have no proof to back-up this claim :(

The answer is no. They're different units, with different part numbers. And 1 fewer antenna connection.

Now it COULD work, perhaps, but I'm not sure if it does. There are definite differences between the units.
