Pace Car Markup's ?

I started liking the Pace Car but it's limited. Can they be found at MSRP and what would a acceptable mark-up if any? Dealer's know they are limited and will expect a market adjustment. I plan on using it and not storing it.

I recently put a deposit on one, and found most local dealers wanted $5k over. They are selling some on e-bay for around $10k over.

The only way they can make the markup is if people are willing to pay it. I personally would never do it as it's a financial miscue in 99.9% of the cases. But there are some with more money than brains. There's an OUTSIDE chance it might be worth it one day, but I can't see that happening anytime soon.

I really wanted a manual, they are only making 100 with the manual trans, I called every Chevrolet dealer I could in every state, only the top 400 dealers selling the most cars in a certain time frame are getting one, I search the internet for days with keyword Largest selling dealers in every region I could. Every time I found a dealer with a manual if they wanted MSRP it was sold most wanted 10K to 15K over, I gave in and paid 5K over (I'm sick about it) The best place to look if you want an auto is call all the dealers in Indy area most of them are getting 4 or 5 cars each these will be actual parade cars used at the festival (I think more collectible) I could have bought those at MSRP some first said 5K over but when I said no most said O.K. MSRP There are 50 cars for the festival, the last 50 will be going to Canada, I know nothing about those cars. I know someone selling their reserved spot for a manual for $7500.00 I have always like the 69 pace car from the outside, just couldn't live with the interior. I think these cars will hold there value better then all the other 2011 Camaro's and if not I bought it because I like it and that is the only reason to buy a car, I'll post a pic when it comes in...May I hope.
