window tint

I don't have a convertible, but for those of you who do...I was wondering do you tint your windows and the windshield too? Because the majority of the time your top is down and so are the windows.

Most states it is illegal to tint the front window. In NC, I know we can have a strip at the top, but it can only cover a certain (small) percentage of the window.

I am getting tinting done on my vert as we speak. There will be plenty of top-up driving opportunities.....unfortunately. Also, living in the south the less sun that I have beating through my windows while it is parked, the better. I am not getting my windshield tinted.

I was referring to the top of the windshield, so when driving into the sun you don't have to put your visors down, not the whole windshield.

I had mine vert done before I picked it up at the dealer. I had medium tint without the windshield done. With the low roofline, I don't think the eyebrow tint is needed. Here in Tucson, tint is pretty much required in the summer.

We just got our windows tinted today. We got a 4 inch strip on the front windshield that is legal here in Louisiana.

Very unique - I like it! Can you post a photo with the top down and the windows up? I want to check out the look before I have mine tinted.

No problem posting some pics with the top down and windows up. Just have to wait a few days for the tint to dry before we can roll them down. The windows automatically go down when you let the top down.

I'm tinting. As Bodih said about Tucson, it's a must here in Phoenix. It'll still help with the car when it's parked outside during the summer.
