my 2010 2ss wont start again????

turned the key and nothing, stuck in the driveway.

try again 5 days later starts right up.

this has happened a few times so i finally take it to the dealer.

of course it works fine when i get it over there and they say they cant fix it if its not broken.

anyone else have this problem?

also, i keep getting messages to roll up windows, they dont roll up automatically when i close the door, then all of a sudden it fixes itself.

i got about 6000 miles on the car :(

that sucks bro have not had any such problems. Sucks that the dealer wouldn't take the extra time to check it out and "ease your mind" keep us posted on it

Have you had the starter wire recall done? This is most likely your problem.

the thing I would do is put your dealer on speed dail.....since you have taken it to them or at least called them, ensure you have someones name there that you have taked to so WHEN it happens again, CALL THEM UP, RIGHT THEN AND THERE, don't attempt to get iut going again, talk to the person that you have talked to in the past so they know you have called before, and have THEM COME GET THE CAR. that way its up to them to FIND AND FIX teh problem.

Check out the posts for TSB's so you can tell your dealer there is a TSB on this issue so they can't give you their bs answer.

# 20 for the positive battery cable re-routing

Also post #21 "intermitent no crank or dead battery" might also be of use to you.

Hope this helps...

It's either a battery or battery cable issue. That's why your windows mess up. When they loose power they need to be re-indexed (lowered all the way then raised all the way manually by holding the switch) before they will auto index. It happens any time the battery is disconnected. You could have a battery with a bad cell in it or a wire might be loose. Or like has been said you may be part of the earlier recall for the wire that needs to be rerouted.

Involved are
certain 2010 model year Chevrolet Camaro vehicles equipped with a V8 engine, and included in the report attached to the GM GlobalConnect Message announcing this recall.

Year Division Model From Through
2010 Chevrolet Camaro A9000406 ---- A9106537

anyone know what these numbers mean?

Why are you not using your free roadside assistance? Have them come get it while it won't start and get it fixed. That is what your warranty and assistance is for.

It's a VIN range of cars affected.

It's a battery thing.

Further detail...

It means VIN 9000406 thru 9106537

90xxxxx are CTF cars (captured test fleet)
91xxxxx are regular production

So if you have basically any CTF car or one of the first 6537 production cars, it's you. Just check the last 7 digits of your VIN.

How do you double the value of a Mustang........fill it with gas
why is a rear window defogger standard on all Mustangs..... to help keep your hands warm when you have to push it in the winter..
What is on the last page of a Mustang owners manual.......The bus schedule
Why do Mustangs do so well in front end collisions ....the tow truck absorbs most ot the impact...
How long does it take the new Mustang to go from 0 to 60.......It depends on how steep the hill is..

Ok I feel better now..
